I was one of over 100 artists to generously donate a postcard-sized work to help the Bluecoat raise money for its 2014 programme. Each raffle ticket purchased guaranteed you a unique and original artwork. However, the identity of the artist of the work was revealed at a live draw event at the Bluecoat on Tuesday evening, 17 December,7pm. £2,200 was raised for this. I created this work during the AA2A scheme. The work I made incorporated decoupage, with a screen print cut up and layered onto a stitched background.
A selection of the artworks will be displayed at the Bluecoat Art Gallery Liverpool in the Vide space from this Thursday (12 December), 10am-6pm, until next Tuesday, when they will all be on display.
