About me:

A British artist working with video, photography, sound and installation, trained in Fine Art at Nottingham Trent (BA, 2003) and De Montfort University (MA, 2012). After graduating from a degree I won a four year fellowship with Digwell Arts Trust (2004) and continued to develop my professional practice. After graduating at DMU my work has been part of a solo platform at The Phoenix Digital Media Centre and shown internationally at Beauville, Lot Sur Garonne, France. In addition I've been invited to develop a site responsive project as part of Ec Arts regeneration project at The Salon, as well as responding to the view of the top floor building at The New Walk Centre, Leicester.

The work is site responsive, exploring perception, sensation and expectation. My practice involves decoding and then making connections between things, arriving in space as part of an Installation, photograph, collage or a collection of objects that all identify a particular sensation. 

 

 

News:

I have a show now on as part of a group at The Salon, Causway Lane, Leiecster (across the road from Inland Rev and next to next).

A group of artists have taken over a disused building, organised by Ec Arts and responded to the area or the history of the city or building. This is a very exciting show! 

11-6 opening hrs Mon - sat this week (21st to 26th Ocotober) 

With a speacial invite FOR ALL to come to our second launch this Thusday 24th 6-8pm 

I am showing installation work based on the area of Frog Island and the comerial area that faces it. Three projections, sound and photography.
