About me and my involvement in AA2A:

I am a mature student, studying part time for three years. When I graduate I hope to continue working as a designer maker and an educator, balancing making with teaching in Further / Higher Education. I am keen to facilitate forging links with AA2A Artists in residence and Industry in my role as Student representative.

I have worked in the Creative Industries as a Textile / Product Designer for the Home / Interiors market. I have been employed by wholesale and Retail companies as well as working freelance. I have overseen sampling and bulk production of woven and printed fabrics and wallpaper production, and put together product ranges as an Assistant Buyer.

I have sold original drawings to Liberty from which they created Liberty Art Fabrics; 'Josephine's Garden', 'Irma' and 'Theodora'.  Spring / Summer 2014 Liberty launched the 'Theodora' product range as part of the Flowers of Liberty collection, based on the fabric called ' Theodora'.
