During my AA2A placement at Anglia Ruskin, I worked with the University of Cambridge Centre for Doctoral Training in NanoScience and NanoTechnology to create a series of microfilms presenting scientific research in an inventive and accessible visual format. The films paired MA level fine artists from Central Saint Martins, Norwich University of the Arts and the Cambridge School of Art, Anglia Ruskin University with PhD scientists from the NanoDTC. The scientists introduced the artists to their labs and work and the artists then used their own words and imagary to explain the scientific research.

NanoVignettes were presented at the University of Cambridge Science Festival in March 2018 and will form an online part of the NanoDTC's 'Mind the Nano Gap' exhibit at the Royal Society Summer Exhibition in London in July 2018.
