Wedding Season

After hosting a funeral, I am now turning myself towards the lighter side of ritual, and am hoping to hold a monumental wedding. My boyfriend is quite dismayed that it is not him that I plan on marrying, but a hedgerow. Inspired by the incredible work of Annie Sprinkle and Beth Stephens, and their seven-year Love Art Lab, I want to show my care and affection for the natural world, by wooing and wedding one lucky bush.

But I am jumping the gun.

You can't rush in to matrimony. Over the following months, there will be a number of dates; quality time spent together, woman and hedgerow, intimate and candlit, to ensure the feelings are mutual.

After that, preparations for the big event will commence, and of course, you are all invited. Save the date.
