Project summary:

I am a mixed-media artist working with performance and sculpture. Through my practice, I am exploring how absurdity and silliness can be used as important tools with which to question anthropocentric hierarchies, and through this, create alternative ecological narratives. My work also explores the power of secular ritual. Aesthetically, my pieces are often composed
of foraged materials seen as waste or scrap, in the interests of sustainability, alongside organic objects. Through mixing the organic and the manmade, I acknowledge that many of our environments are not untouched wilderness, but a churning mixture of the human and nonhuman.
