I studied Fine Art at Liverpool John Moores and a PGCE at Middlesex. I have taught Art in secondary schools and currently work p/t as a supply teacher for primary education. I also help my husband with his business- Cakes & Ale Press, selling his prints and assisting with exhibitions. A few years ago I started to do more of my own work (now my children are getting older).  I enjoy reading and writing poetry. My lino prints and paintings concern imagery from my own and other poems as well as general influences that surround me. Collections from everyday life, dreams and memories.  Spaces, interiors that we inhabit.  I hope to use the AA2A residency to develop my lino prints. To work on a larger scale and to use the screenprint facilities with letterpress to combine imagery and my poems.
