In this group exhibition the artists have explored their experiences through the Covid-19 Lockdown. The theme of 'Connections' has been kept open to interpretation to give as much artistic freedom to the artists, allowing them to create unreservedly while in these times of uncertainty. Whether that be digital connections, emotional, or personal; the artists have taken their own ideas of it to create exciting new works to show to you on this digital platform.
My piece is a short animation comprised of ink drawings which reflect the personal journey I have been on, though I am sure the journey will never really be over.
Like many, for most of this year, I have felt disconnected from pretty much everything other than my household.
One positive outcome from this strange period has been the time for self-reflection, I have never been very good at dealing with my personal issues, in the last few months I have, however taken a good look at myself and spent a lot of time thinking about what I need and what is good for me. I feel that I know and understand myself better now.
