My work combines ceramics, metal and textiles. I am drawn to the blend of simple materials, textures and processes. Within my pieces, I like to encompass a quirky element.  My work is tactile and the viewer is often unsure of what material I have used, sometimes due to the texture but also due to the impression I take something that is recognisable but somehow unfamiliar. I add small details such as oxides or stitch to compliment the simplicity of my stylised pieces.
