Sally Stenton

Artform:
Subtle interventions and journeys with a quizzical and playful approach to digital encounters.
Year:
2017-18
Location:
St. Ives, Cambridgeshire
Project summary:

My work connects with the senses, exploring traces through time and often catching people unawares, interrupting their normal passage from place to place.

Digital media jostle with tactile materials and processes, so that the work can take a variety of forms including moving image, site-specific installation, and participatory performance.

I seeks pathways between seemingly unconnected places and ideas, working with people who bring different perspectives, placing myself in unfamiliar territory, becoming lost and embracing the unexpected.
