Project summary:

Dyson’s work explores many themes encircling the ‘inexonaivety’ of the Human Race. Most notably societal issues surrounding kink, sex work and queer identity. Their work comes in many different forms and mediums from writing to performance and digital work to painting.

“I do not think my work will change the world. I do not want to change the world, am I any better than any selfish dictator if I change the world to exactly how I think it should look? I make work for myself at the end of the day – though I take pleasure in the small victories. If my work gives someone the confidence to wear fishnets out in public for the first time, or not to shave their legs for once, to wear glittery nail varnish or to say fuck it and do the one thing they have always wanted to do despite the social constructs stand in their way. It is important to improve and change YOUR world not THE world.”
