Pipelines is a new body of work by artist Phillipa Horan. A large scale installation formed from clay, metal and wood and grown out of mycelium, natures own internet and superhighway of the forest floor. The project is to be as sustainable as possible and where possible, materials will be recycled. The film narrates and explores the interconnectivity and hidden networks of a contemporary society. Exploring motifs of gender, the institution and nature.
