Project summary:

My main interests are based around kinetisism, Optical effects and Op Art, with such artists as            Victor Vasarely, Bridget Riley and Max Bill being my three main sources of inspiration. Otherwise my art history is mainly based around the De Stijl and Bauhaus period's, also incorporating elements of construcivism, futurism, the Swiss Graphic Design and Concrete art movements.

My aim has always been to replicate movement within my artwork as a way of reflecting on the manual working life style i have had. I also try to interact with all the viewers of my work by shaping each piece in a way that the picture itself changes or distorts as you the viewer move from one side to the other. Everything is produced by hand using architects drawing stencils; mainly alphatetic stencils using the English alphabet, unless otherwise stated.
