Project summary:

I would like to create an installation that will be a visual metaphor for creation itself. Showing the connectivity of the universe, of nature, and the connective process of human creativity. This will be manifest as an immersive installation with an architectural structure interspersed with bright and bold conceptual sculptures.

The AA2A programme is a fantastic opportunity to progress my practice by producing an ambitious and conceptually expansive project. The access to the universities facilities would provide me with the opportunity to produce a much more creative artwork than would otherwise be possible for me. It would give me great pleasure to present my work to the public or students, as well as being fantastic for my own future prospects. The opportunity to attend the visiting artists lecture programme is also very exciting for me; to be constantly learning and finding new inspiration is an important part of any artists practice.

My aim for the AA2A program is to create a fantastic artwork first and foremost. As well as being visually exciting, I hope to create an art installation that is educational, encourages curiosity in the viewer, and inspires them towards creativity. I hope to achieve this by combining both the intellectual and playful side of art and design, integrating various influences to create something original that gives joy and inspiration to the viewer.
