I studied for my BA in art and design and my MA in printmaking at Bradford College. I work across a few different medias, which include painting, and felt making. My main area of work is photographic, I love all aspects of photography,  I enjoy the challenge of photographing the unusual and the abstract. I work with digital imagery and the old method of photography the pin hole camera. I have become an avid collector of boxes all shapes and sizes. I make cameras from simple domestic boxes such as shoe boxes, gift boxes, and a particular favourite is the cylindrical shaped gravy boxes.  I was inspired to explore pin hole photography by a project with an organisation in Bradford and by a keen interest shown by my grandson. I like the idea of exploring domestic situations with cameras made from domestic items, and am excited by the prospect of exploring different subjects outside the domestic place. My aim on the AA2A project is to explore futher pinhole imagery using the dark room and digital media, I would also like to explore the possiblities of using my images in photo etching.
