I use tradition drawing methods, and digital collaging in my work, often combining these two techniques. My drawing practice explores the use of mixed media as a tool for creating surface texture with dip pen ink drawings. The pre-treatment of the paper is an important part of the creative process. I will often score into the paper using scalpels or household objects, creating ridges and cuts in the paper for ink to absorb into. 

During the programme I am looking to develop a series of mixed media images, with an emphasis on combining printmaking and drawing. I want to explore further the technique of collagraph printing to create surface patterns and texture on paper, and to use this as a preliminary base for my drawings. Some of the drawings I will develop further through digital media, and exploring the use of augemented reality.

My current practice involves working globally with other artists and writers with projects and connections formed, or shared, on the blockchain. I also make digital creations that are collected and traded on the blockchain.
