Although I've not been in working for a couple of weeks I have been to the lecture programme. This has given me a lot to think about along with drawing and writing in my sketchbook, which has helped move my ideas on. I find it very important to spend quiet time thinking about and sketching ideas. I enjoy letting ideas develop, and that is what has been happening.
I make 'cracked earths' as a way of exploring climate change and our place within a changing world. I would like to use my kilns to develop this idea further. I have made a metal sphere as the start of the next one and will be making more in the coming weeks.
