I make 2 & 3D work on paper using a drawing, folding, print and photography. My visual interest lies beyond the object. I am drawn to line, pattern and shape that occurs in peripheral space: a space in which the peripheral becomes the object. I use process and materials, play with ideas of repetition, reduction and abstraction to explore and reflect my encounter with this space. I aim to use this period to initiate a new body of work and continue to build my research on ideas of haptic vision and acts of embodied looking.
