Red Vase - a direct response to Covid-19

This red vase is entirely rooted in the moment - ie. the spring of 2020, the spring of Covid-19 lockdown. A vase is a very domestic item and most of us have been confined to our homes and spend more time with these items than we usually do. Do they grow in significance? My vase includes slogans and words that we got the hear a lot during this time of isolation. The binary codes read "herd immunity' and "isolate" - two directly opposed instructions, where as "SOS" spells out in Braille which, as it is not written in relief, is useless. The QR codes can be scanned and bring up more related words and phrases and they signify our increased use of digital technology to keep 'in touch' with each other.
