I welcome this opportunity to participate in AA2A at Uclan, Preston - though one of the best resourced and supported Print Departments in the region.

My time at Uclan will be spent using the Print-rooms Columbian and Proofing presses to extend and refine my use of relief printing. There are both technical aspects to master in producing a new body of work - and tricky aesthetics issues and self-doubts to be overcome.

As someone who primarily focuses on supporting others through being a print technician- I look forward to shifting the excuses towards attention to my own work. This paying attention I believe is well served by stepping away from my workplace and working alongside students, staff and other AA2A participants at Uclan Preston.
