AA2A YSJ artist Lucy Wright will be exhibiting the piece 'In the Lonely Country 1' as part of the Leeds Artists Show, opening 15 February to 30 April 2023.
Leeds Artists Show 2023 features new and recent work by the selected artists and takes place during LEEDS 2023 Year of Culture. The exhibition also introduces the next generation of artists with drawings and paintings by 20 young people from Leeds primary schools.
The selection panel included Derek Horton (writer-curator), Hardeep Pandhal (artist), Isabelle Marklew (performance artist and sculptor, and member of Leeds Art Gallery’s Youth Collective), Kadish Morris (critic-writer) with Holly Grange (exhibitions curator) and Jane Bhoyroo (principal keeper) from Leeds Art Gallery.
