I am fascinated by the similarities between the micro and macro dimensions and the sense of wonder that links the two. I am inspired by the on going exploration that takes place within these two areas and the use of light and optics, that is integral to the process. During my time in Sunderland I hope to be able to translate some of these ideas into glass. I would like to develop new ways of working with ultra violet light and pigment. I am looking forward to being able to work back in the college environment and the new possibilities this could lead too.
