This work explores the spectacle and sensation. I'm currently looking at why and how we sense what we sense- what has influenced our judgement whether it be somewhere in film, experience or animal instinct - why one street or field can be so uncomfortable and the next blissful when it apears to look the same in many ways.

I work with space and place and enjoy playing with the ambiance of a room by projecting back recorded moving imagery.

WTS Basement Gallery, 6, Silver Walk, St Martins Square, Leicester (showing as part of the AA2A/ DMU Summer Art Trail)

Down the spiral staircase, there are two rooms, some of the walls are raw brick and some are white tiles - there is an apparent history to the space, something uniquely haunting and atmospheric - this is not your usual white wall gallery- from 1850 to 1960 this building, was a leather merchants, which explains why one room looks like an abattoir! All welcome to visit!!!!!
