I am an artist working in Edinburgh. Originally from Tokyo. The key concept to my practice is a sense of place that had been developed through research and workshops. The appropriate techniques and materials were chosen for each project. Most of them were mixed medium including my favourite, glass, which is the material that evokes inspirations from intangible sources like memory.  I have developed successful temporary installations in galleries and unexpected places.
