Spent my first full day in the ceramics studio yesterday. It was very productive. Here im sharing my new work ready to fire. Such a fantastic kiln for a handbuilder like myself to share with the students, I can maintain large scale builds. I have mixed my own glazes for this project, hoping for a milky white body, soft subdues black blue and a rusty brown. Wish me luck.
I have worked with clay on and off all my life but only began taking it seriously in 1st lockdown. Now I am trying to learn fast as have exhibitions. As an Illustator by training I want to bridge the gap, drawing on my 3D forms to add a unique quality as we all draw and interpret differently.
