New Boundary Linocuts

Karen Logan 4 years ago

I've cut two more boundary linocuts and have completed the set of four. All are printed and wrapped, ready for the Belper Arts Trail on Sunday 5th and Monday 6th May. I'm showing my work at Attic Batik next to the market place in Belper, on the upper trail.

I'm using the trail to discover what the public reaction is to my work and what sells. As well as these prints from my AA2A project I've made two others - an image of a hawthorn tree and a view of Peak Tor from the A6. The hawthorn/Peak Tor linocuts are created as beautiful images/a commercial print, there is a black & white and colour edition. I'm intrigued to see what is popular.

This time next week the trail will be over and I'll reflect on the experience.
