I want to focus on linocuts and look at reduction prints in more detail, as this is an area I am still new too. Along with this I want to look at embossed prints, as I like the idea of there being no ink involved and the extra pressure from the press picking up the texture of the carved areas, as well as the shadows that are created on the final print.
My main aim is to be back in an academic and structured environment, which being on the AA2A scheme will provide. It will help me pursue these ideas, and continue to create a body of work which in turn will enable me to find out more about my area of interest. This will (I hope) lead to new ideas and possibilities in my practice.
