I have worked in glass a long time, a life time and my work had often elicited responses from the public which lead me to believe that they found the work, beautiful and well crafted, but I did not see it exciting an internal dialog within my viewers. I found myself thinking that maybe if the work met the viewer at eye level things might be different, and it has been.
These standing pieces are all constructed of borosilicate glass, sandblasted and painted with oils. Each piece has an internal metal structure, which aids in securing the work from harm.
