THUD! is an audio-responsive sound installation based on the ideas of active participation and co-creation: the sound installation continuously records and overlays accidental sounds of the audience members passing through the gallery space and assembles a sonic landscape from all the accidental sounds like foot shuffles while constantly replaying the emerging soundscape back into the room. A preview on 19 November, 2-5pm, will feature live performances by jazz and electroacoustic musicians Paul Jolly, Rick Jensen and a live stream by a noise artist and DIY experimentalist, Aurora, hailing from Slovakia.
