Project summary:

My practice focuses on multiples and repetitions to explore perception and observation of both the urban landscape and the natural world, encouraging the viewer to approach the familiar in a new and more considered way.  I am fascinated by the intricate and the detail, which comes through in all aspects of my work, including printmaking, surface design and sculpture. I also create large-scale suspended installations made from multiples of origami, which have been exhibited internationally.

Over the coming months I hope to use printmaking, digital print processes and upholstery techniques to explore the themes of the Anthropocene era, extinction and specifically, the Sixth Mass Extinction, incorporating these into sculptural pieces.
