AA2A scheme at Kingston University Faculty of Art, Design and Architecture provided me with the opportunity of an intense working period of time, which built a momentum towards a new body of work. Having had the access to equipment and facilities principally within the Filmmaking Department, allowed me to work on a more ambitious project, play with new ideas while enhancing my present practice. My aim was to produce a new film set around the workshops of Kingston University Schools of Fine Art and Communication Design, shot on 16mm, and edit this footage with the super 8 and digital video recordings also taken within the premises of the school. This has been my first attempt to combine different types of visual recordings in one unified group of pieces, combined with a set of objects produced in the Ceramics workshop.
