Project summary:

I’m a Canadian contemporary artist and graphic designer currently based in York.  I design and build my own consumer packaging from cardboard, plastic and Styrofoam, creating intricate sculptural forms that explore Western consumer culture.  I’m interested in the ways that everyday disposable containers can be used to express our society’s myths, obsessions and values—recalling the ritualistic function of ancient decorative vessels such as Greek vases and Egyptian sarcophagi.  My work has been exhibited across the UK and internationally, including shows in London, New York, Chicago, New Orleans, Montreal, Berlin and Rotterdam.
