Project summary:

My research is focused on investigating memory, more specifically on contemporary archives and archival forms and how do we relate to them in order to hand down our histories to next generations.

I have always been drawn to research about memory and about the archive and archival forms in particular. Besides being a learning tool, archives are also proof and reminder that the past existed, and they represent our way of dealing with the end of things and the beginning of new ones. My ongoing research led me to question what the role of memory and of the past is for us as individuals and as a society.

Through the use of analogue photography, casting and digital printing on textile, my aim is to develop a new series of small and medium size sculptures/installations
