I have been travelling to Leeds College of Art and Design with my team of expert assistants (some smokers, some non-smokers, some have stopped smoking and some have started again) since last October to realise this project through the AA2A. I had saved my cigarette ends, ash and empty packets for about 18 months, planning (when I stopped smoking) to use them to make paper and paint and build a doll's house.

It has been great to be able to realise this project, to learn new skills, and to have the facilities, materials, advice and support available, as well as the provision of finances to allow me to travel and spend concentrated time working in Leeds.
