Project Research.

The prime objective for the AA2A placement at Liverpool Hope has been to develop my practice in new ways. I continued working with themes relating to time, and undertook various material trials: e.g. using the inkjet printer and laser cutter.  Then in November 2015 a synchronistic encounter with an unusually bountiful oak tree, led me to decide to collect and plant around 300 acorns. I anticipated that directions would emerge from the simple, mindful activity of planting and nurturing the acorns over the winter months. I aimed to be as open as possible to this process and to how a meditative focus might trigger intuitive responses. I undertook further research as topics arose.
