Flipping Flocking

I've had a disappointing couple of days flocking onto glass without the use of a heat press it has been hit and miss with an iron. Whilst previously succesfully flocking onto glass using a heatpress and tubvinyl, now I create larger panels I am reluctant to risk the glass by putting it in the press (could be very costly). As the glass should be 2mm thick to go in the press this would mean flocking and pressing the top sheet of glass before it is laminated otherwise it would be too thick and would mean I would have to test if the flock is affected by being heated up again during the laminating process. I am off to investigate different adhesives, flock guns and stickyback flock :(
