Project summary:

My work has been dominated by the technique of raising since graduating from London Metropolitan University in 2008.  My forms and subtle textures are drawn from the markings and shapes of people when their appearance has been altered, often from those that are facially disfigured or heavily scared.  This year at London Metropolitan I will produce a series of large pieces (meaning 300mm to 500mm in height) that will explore these textures and forms further, with the hammer, but also with other materials such as ceramics and possibly wood.

The intention through this work is to demonstrate that something often thought to be ugly or replusive can be seductive and beautiful.

Please come and see what I am up to and ask any questions you would like to, relating to my work or your own.
