I am a visual fine artist currently working and exhibiting within Liverpool. My current practice explores themes of self-representation and representation of the human figure through a variety of different mediums.

As an artist I am interested in the importance of observation and documentation in the development of my practice. This often leads to my work containing both elements of abstraction and figuration.  

The project I will be exploring during the residency will build on my current themes and develop areas of narrative and storytelling around my work. My aim is to produce a strong body of work that I will present within a self-curated solo exhibition at the end of my residency.

Taking part in the Artists Access to Art Colleges programme will give me access to all the Universities facilities I need to develop both creatively and professionally. I also aim to use this program to secure future residencies and tutoring roles within the arts.
