My practice often involves attempting to communicate a sense of my own existence being or becoming mutual with my environment, by interrogating the boundaries that activate or operate in this embodiment and co-existence, it is my desire to creatively reconfigure the familiar within our lives toward an understanding of the factors at play in our own experience and development.

Staffordshire University, School of Creative Arts and Engineering, as a site at the intersection between art and design, provides the ideal location for me to share and develop my practice beyond my studio and reach out to the wider community in the West Midlands. I’m inspired by the opportunity made possible through the AA2A programme to share aspects of my artistic journey with students, and hope to use the opportunity to respond intuitively to the resources at hand.
