The inspiration for my project is provided by the collage and paper mache that I create from the samples, test pieces and mistakes I create in my screen printing. Having only returned to printing in the last 18 months, I am still relearning the process. I have no formal studio, just the good old kitchen table. Faced with a pile of paper which represented the prints that didn't make the cut, I find myself collaging and using newsprint tests to explore 3-d forms which become paper mache bowls. The plan is to turn these in to designs for ceramics.
