At the Margins

Large intaglio prints, made by combining acetate drypoint technique with cardboard-built plates. Some also use chine colle. These works were afterwards developped using watercolour and collage.

The images speak of humanity's precarious place in relation to our physical surroundings.

A comment on relations of inter-dependence between two structures, each fairly animal, where it is not clear which is controlling the other.

Here the elements, used like puppets, combine to support and partially enclose a space which is both internal and external. The feet are both human and foliate.

Tied to the Mast
A shed-like structure, vaguely reminiscent of Britain, is the support for a set of oversized feet, tied to it by a loose collaged rag.
