Project summary:

I would like to develop large scale actetate-based drypoint etchings which are printed on folded paper and can then be used to make a large tent-like paper construction which can house parts of a performance. The imagery I would be exploring, the Green Man and Punch and Judy is drawn from an English vernacular, reinterpreted by writer Ruseell Hoban in Riddley Walker in the 1980s, and now again by my, female, voice in it. I hope to use the outcomes in a further piece of collaborative work, and build a touring exhbition proposal around the themes of this work.
