An alumni of Dartington College of Arts, Chris. Dugrenier is a French independent artist.
Working cross arts forms from solo performances, Video Art, site-specific and live art projects, Chris. practice is triggered by a desire to understand and interrogate.
Chris. works from an outsider point of view and is not bound by forms.
She is guided by ideas, is drawn to off-site spaces, always works with truths and wants to make visible human concepts and thoughts.
Following a process of experimentation inspired by visual arts, contemporary choreographic and devised methodologies, Chris’s projects take audiences on physical journeys and journeys of the mind, inviting through humour, moving moments and lingering imagery reflection and change of perspectives.
Her work has been presented at Warwick Arts Centre, Cambridge Junction, Embrace Arts, Goldsmith College, PDSW and was programmed at the Fierce International Festival, Expo, Sprint (Camden People Theatre), Nottingham European Arts and Theatre Festival (NEAT), Hatch Nottingham, Nottdance Festival and Sacred at Chelsea Theatre.
She is an associate artist for Stan’s Cafe Theatre and performer / devisor for 30Bird (Domestic Labour: A study in Love).
