Project summary:

The similarity between drawing with pencil and paper and the process of producing artworks with clay is something that I am interested in exploring further.  Both methods allow me to express complex feelings that are hard to describe that lie deeply in my consciousness.

I have always seen my practice as a multi-layered thing; the ideal mode of exhibition for me is when I am able to present sculptural works alongside drawings both on paper and directly on to the gallery walls. The conversations between works of form and presentation create interesting conundrums for my audiences to interpret, and, I think, more accurately represent the multiple meanings within my works that reflect my various states of mind, memories and hidden anxieties.
