I am exhibiting as part of The Northern Collective, this is our first group exhibition and we are delighted to be holding it at the prestigious Theatre by the Lake in Keswick.
Comprising 16 artists from Cumbria and beyond the Northern Collective regularly meet to observe, be inspired by and make drawings at cultural sites such as Abbot Hall Gallery and Sprint Mill, Burneside with its unique collection of local memorabilia, and within the Cumbrian landscape.
The artists will showcase a rich diversity of themes and artistic processes including painting, printmaking, textiles, collage and assemblage. As well as expansive landscape forms, themes explored in the Northern Collective include plant structures, texture and surface markings, and flora and fauna found in the natural environment.
