Engage Artist

Annette Pugh

Year:
2017-18
Influences:
print making
Project summary:

I am an artist/educator living and working in the West Midlands. I studied Fine Art and Art and Design Histories to MA level and currently work between painting, photography and drawing. My work plays heavily on the use of archive materials, old and new technologies and the point at which an image trancends it's original photographic form . Works in all media engage with the notion of lost identities, collective memory and uncertain moments. Place, time and narrative are ever present within my work and current developments into film are informed by the writings of a lone female traveller from the late 1960's, familial archives and the notion of wanderlust.
