Project summary:

I trained in Fine Art Printmaking at Central St Martins. I would like to recommence studio practice after several years focusing on exhibition and curation projects. I do not currently have access to print studio faciltities and the college would enable me to work in media for which I am trained and develop a new body of work. Since 1993, my proffessional focus has been on developing curatorial projects for museums and Galleries. I currently manage a gallery in the North York Moors.

Since begining AA2A I have been researching new approaches to my studio based print practice. I recently started making a new group of prints using vinyl lino. This process is very flexible and composite images can be created quickly, retaining a sense of immediacy whilst articulating the print process. The 'open ended' nature of these compositions and the potential to re-configure the figurative forms has opened exciting new avenues in my work.
