Printing, session 1

Mixing paints is something I need to work on - I do most of my colour choosing on the computer or with PANTONE swatch books, so I'm spending quite a bit of time mixing colours to see what happens.

I'm doing quick and dirty prints here as I look for good arrangements of coloured areas on the page, using cellophane stencils so I can move a shape around from print to print. Three prints for each position of the grey shape ...

... and three prints for each position of the green one - but the three prints with the first position of the grey shape each have a different position of the green shape, and so on. Nine prints = nine different compositions.

Here is the underneath of the screen with the cellophane stencil and a piece of glossy paper closing the gap between the edge of the stencil and the edge of the masked-off area on the screen.
