As a summary of our collective second year studying Fine Art at York St John, myself and my peers formed our final exhibition titled 'Essence'. A wide range of free thinking works, exploring the core aspects of artistic practice, come together to form a showcase of multimedia arts.
My work explored sensorial experience and the relationship between objects and touch. Ultimatly I exhibited a sculptural installation that encouraged the viewer to engage with objects of curiosity through handling, and view my sculpture which was intended to envoke nostalgic memories of childhood fascination with tactility. I am continuously fascinated by our human instinct to explore and my work seeks to destroy boundries that disrupt this curious human nature.
