Self-employment seminars - the final seminar for this year is about ‘Keeping records and tax’ with guest Creative Rory Buckland on Tuesday 27th June at 1.30pm. We’ll cover essential topics including self-assessment and dealing with HMRC.
Student Rep challenge winners - congrats to our two winners Julie Woods and Charlie Alston at Blackpool School of Arts. Both met up with AA2A artists at their college and wrote great blogs about the benefits to students of connecting with practising artists. Their prizes are an art/design subscription or voucher up to the value of £40.
Host institutions - we are talking to a number of potential hosts at present, some that have already worked with AA2A and some that are new to the scheme. If you know of a HE or FE provider that may be interested in hosting artists residencies plus our student employability support package, get in touch.
Final shows - good luck to all our AA2A host institutions and students - we hope your degree shows are a great success.
Artists evaluation deadline - our Artists Evaluation Part 2 is due back to us by 23rd June. This feedback is so useful for us as it flags up issues, helps us make improvements and sparks new ideas.
Recruiting a new National Director - a final reminder that we are seeking a new director as Wendy Mason is stepping back from the role. Deadline for applications is Monday 12th June. More info on recruitment.
